摘要
To predict the fatigue life of a reinforced concrete (RC) flexural member strengthened with externally bonded prestressed Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) laminate accurately, the interaction between components with different degrees of degradation must be carefully taken into account. Furthermore, as the debonding of FRP plates is a recurrent problem, this has to be incorporated into the prediction model. In this study, a nonlinear analysis method for the entire process of fatigue damage in RC beams strengthened with prestressed Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) plates was proposed. In this model, all the components of the strengthened beam had independent fatigue degradation properties and failure criteria, and debonding growth was also explicitly considered. The comparison between the analytical and experimental results were used for model validation and good agreement was found.
