Smart Metering Applications

In this chapter, the smart metering applications are classified with respect to the stakeholders that are mainly interested in their deployment and can have the highest profit. For each application, the main interests and benefits, requirements, as well as barriers and limitations are analysed. Based on this analysis, a business case is developed utilizing the business canvas representation.
