Organic Light-Emitting Diodes In article number 2202866, Chul Hoon Kim, Kyoung-Ho Kim, Seung Yoon Ryu, and co-workers demonstrate a unique and abnormal approach for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) to enhance the external quantum efficiency using the antibiotic ampicillin. Electroluminescence and photoluminescence and scattering by the ampicillin microstructure make highly efficient top-emission OLEDs possible. The application of the antibiotic to OLEDs widens the scalability of various materials for optoelectronic devices.
