Abstract Which clinically measured and observed covariates affect the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic variability of adult critically ill patients receiving beta-lactam antibiotics? Which are the most commonly used models and reported outcomes of population pharmacokinetic studies in critically ill populations? We will search MEDLINE via OvidSP, Embase via OvidSP, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (CENTRAL), Web of Science, and the ClinicalTrials.gov register.
