摘要
Miniaturised technique is referred to as minimum utilisation of chemicals in smaller instruments or smaller glassware as far as possible. In Chromatographic Techniques it is applied with the use of possible smaller columns and minimum reagents. Nontoxic reagents and environment friendly process is preferred for green miniaturised techniques. Green miniaturised chromatographic techniques are used for separation of the smaller mixture and identify compounds at the smaller scale. This chapter covers comprehensive overview of the green aspects of miniaturised systems for greener chromatographical techniques with minimal cost analytical processes, which includes the reduction of volume of samples/solvents, minimisation of generated waste by using microfluidic devices, use of microextraction techniques and use of nontoxic solvents including subcritical water, super critical fluid, bioderived solvents and ionic liquids.
