摘要

• The presence of new residents, cardiology fellows, and attendings in the summer does not have a negative impact on STEMI patients’ outcomes admitted to teaching hospitals, hence no “July effect.” • Given the potential limitation of Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project ( HCUP ) databases, including the Nationwide Readmissions Database (NRD) and the retrospective nature of this study, a prospective cohort study might be warranted to confirm our findings.
