Bone Healing In article number 2300469 by Wenzhao Liu, Huanan Wang, Tao Chen, and co-workers, a naturally derived dual photo-enhanced hydrogel is used to treat infected bone defects, in which SilMA is derived from silk cocoons and MA-GNPs are derived from bovine skin and bone. This strategy ensures good tissue biocompatibility. At the same time, the developed hydrogel exhibits excellent biophysical properties and spatiotemporal regulation of bone defect healing cascades while avoiding the use of antibiotics and exogenous proteins.
