摘要

A novel tool, ALAn (Automated Layer Analysis), is developed to classify the architecture of epithelial cell layers in three dimensions. The rearrangement of MDCK cells in the apical-basal axis is dependent on substrate availability, and the lack of substrate leads to disorganization.
