Marijuana and the Lung

Indeed, marijuana has been used for pain control for millennia.2,3 The endocannabinoid system is ubiquitous and impacts many aspects of cognitive and physical function.4 Its vilification represents a relatively recent political act to the detriment of research and understanding in this area. The very act of publication of this article helps the process of relegitimization and of a scientific approach to this topic.
