摘要
Background and Purpose: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) patients have a poor 5-year survival. Clinicopathological factors have an impact on survival. These tumors have a dense stroma, responsible for up to 80% of their volume. The amount of stroma can be associated with prognosis, although there are discrepancies regarding its concrete impact. Our aim was to study prognostic factor for survival in PDAC patients submitted to surgery, particularly tumor stroma area (TSA).
