摘要
The imaging techniques used to evaluate the urinary tract are dictated by the indication for which the diagnostic evaluation is being performed. Modalities currently in use include conventional abdominal plain film radiography, ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), radionuclide studies, and positron emission tomography (PET). In this chapter, the role of these different imaging modalities in the management of patients will be addressed, starting with the most commonly used techniques.
