摘要
•Hollow Carbon-based materials were prepared through a two-step ion etching process.•In-situ embedded NiCoP@CoP endowed the hybrid host with enhanced ion/electron transfer ability.•NiCoP@CoP as heterogeneous catalysts propel the stepwise polysulfide conversion.•S@NiCoP@CoP/NC shows excellent electrochemical performance.
