Cauliflower-like CuS Assembly for Sodium-Ion Battery Anode

Sodium ion batteries (SIB) have attracted considerable attention owing to the rich reserve of sodium element. In this work, the cauliflower-like CuS is prepared by a simple low-temperature synthesis strategy for advanced anode of SIB, which delivers a high specific capacity of 590.7 mAh g-1 after 50 cycles at a current density of 50 mA g-1. And a specific capacity of 605.2 mAh g-1 is retained after 400 cycles at a high current density of 2200 mA g-1 with loading of 4 mg cm-2. This work provides a feasible route to develop CuS anode material with remarkable sodium storage performance.
