Promising lanthanide-doped double molybdates KYb(MoO4)2 phosphors for highly efficient upconversion luminescence and temperature sensing

摘要
•KYb(MoO4)2 is adopted as a novel host for highly efficient UCL and temperature sensing.•High-purity multi-color UCL is achieved in the same host at single excitation.•The UCL brightness of the KYb(MoO4)2-based phosphors is evaluated.•KYb(MoO4)2: Tm3+, Ho3+ exhibits high optical relative sensitivity with maximum value of 2.84 % K−1.
