摘要
This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the existing radiation monitoring methods currently employed in aviation security checks. In addition, it proposes the design of an innovative passageway radiation monitoring system. The proposed system incorporates a combination of advanced plastic scintillation detectors [1] and He-3 gas proportional tube detectors[2]-[3], enabling the simultaneous monitoring of neutrons and gamma rays in the surrounding environment. The acquired count rate data is efficiently transmitted to a central control system for meticulous analysis. Through comparison with dynamic background radiation levels, the system effectively determines the permission to grant passage at the gate. Moreover, it incorporates advanced data recording and storage capabilities, ensuring valuable resources for future inspections and continual improvement of security measures. By introducing cutting-edge technologies and adhering to rigorous scientific principles, this research provides a new solution for radiation monitoring in the aviation security domain.
