Abstract
Explorations of spiking neuron circuits in TFT technologies are still rare and comparison with those in CMOS have not been thoroughly investigated. Here we explore simulations of spiking neurons based on discrete devices from experimental demonstrations in CMOS and organic technologies. We focus on an integrate and fire neuron of recent interest, the Axon-Hillock circuit.
