摘要
The space and time discretization methods are crucial for obtaining accurate finite element (FE) solutions. In this paper, a high-order time-discretization FE scheme is investigated for solving transient magnetic fields. The initial value is carefully chosen to ensure the smooth start-up of the FE formulation. The proposed method largely outperformed the widely-used backward Euler method for its well-known low temporal accuracy. The effectiveness of the calculation method has been verified through a benchmark example of the TEAM 30A problem.
