摘要
Suppression of the first harmonic of graphene antenna radiation due to a significant change in the surface resistance of the conductive layers by changing layer thickness, was demonstrated in the present study. This effect makes it possible to govern the electrodynamic characteristics of antennas by changing the thickness of the printed conductive layer of the graphene antenna. This result supports the conclusion about the common positive effect of the variable resistivity of graphene antennas stated in [Perruisseau-Carrier, J. In: Proceedings of the LAPC, Loughborough, UK, 2012; pp. 1-4.]. The result was obtained on a symmetrical one-sided classical planar dipole on a substrate made of a foil-reinforced fluoroplastic FAF-4D, high-frequency dielectric widely used for GHz-band antennas. It has been confirmed for the frequency of the G band 5–5.2 GHz, both by simulation and experimentally for antennas of different thicknesses and different bending radii, and when printed with composite graphene ink.
