Abstract
•The Effect of HWPCB and HWPHC on aged and un-aged HMA mixtures were investigated.•Pure modes I and II fracture properties of mixes at −15 °C was evaluated.•For all mixes and under aged and un-aged, KIIC was lower than KIC and GIIF was higher than GIF.•The brittleness performance of mixes under mode II was better due to the higher average CRI value.•The stiffness performance of mixes under mode II was better due to the higher average value of TS and TSI.
