Streptozocin (STZ) aggravates diabetic atherosclerosis in aged ApoE-/- mice. (A). Study design: ApoE-/- mice were given STZ (50 mg/kg/day) or vehicle by intraperitoneal injection for five days consecutively to induce diabetes. (B).
