摘要

•Hollow sphere CdS/MWCNTs composites were prepared and first used for the photocatalytic degradation of SBX.•Hollow structure of CdS/MWCNTs nanocomposites increased its specific surface area and enhanced solar absorption.•The addition of MWCNTs accelerated the carrier separation and improved the reaction activity for CdS/MWCNTs nanocomposites.
