The Electric Crisis of Brazil in 2021 Origins and a Solution Proposal.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the origins and propose solutions to the 2021 electricity crisis in Brazil. The intention is to raise subsidies for reflections on social issues and issues related to the pandemic, which contribute in a way to decisions of the Brazilian electricity sector, in order to solve problems that contribute to the instability of the voltage of the electricity networks, the that can lead to blackouts. The study method is classified in terms of the approach to problems as qualitative research, and in terms of its nature, as a theoretical study. The study concluded that the main origins of the 2021 electricity crisis in the country are: the low average rainfall recorded in Brazil, the lack of strategic planning for the Brazilian electricity sector and the excessive dependence on the water source for electricity generation in the country. As for the proposals for solutions to the electrical crisis, the research identified the need to create a distributed and renewable generation in the country in the medium to long term.
