摘要
In this paper, the electromagnetic design of a high-speed interior permanent magnet (IPM) is proposed. During the design process, not only the electromagnetic and loss characteristics of the high-speed IPM motor, but also the maximum stress of the rotor should be considered. First, the influence of rotor design parameters, including magnetic bridge thickness, rib width and stiffener thickness, on no-load back-EMF and rotor stress is analyzed. Then, the influence of the thickness and width of the PM on the motor rated-load performance and the maximum rotor stress is analyzed, based on the rotor structure of the PM in three segments. Finally, the electromagnetic properties and rotor stresses of the motor are verified by the finite element model.
