Feasibility Study on Damping Device for High Temperature Superconducting Maglev Train

摘要
In this paper, a vibration damping device for high temperature superconducting maglev train is proposed. The device cleverly uses the horizontal magnetic field generated by the track of high temperature superconducting maglev train, and places the DC linear motor in the magnetic field, so that the DC linear motor generates a vertical force. By controlling the force, the damping effect of high temperature superconducting maglev train can be realized. For this device, we use the finite element and SIMULINK simulation to evaluate and optimize the device. Based on the simulation results, a theoretical model is designed and made, and the experimental study of the theoretical model is carried out to verify the feasibility of the device. Through further optimization, the device can provide good results for the future practical application of high temperature superconducting maglev train.
