摘要
This article proposes a new consequent pole (CP) flux-reversal permanent magnet (PM) machine with auxiliary teeth (AT-CPFRPMM). The AT-CPFRPMM employs the alternatively placed main teeth with CP PMs and auxiliary teeth to form an asymmetric PM arrangement of 'Fe-NFeN-Fe', which can effectively reduce the flux leakage and increase the utilization of PMs. Meanwhile, the incorporation of auxiliary teeth can achieve the isolation between phase windings and increase the fault-tolerant capability. The configuration and operation principle of AT-CPFRPMM are first explained. The multi-objective design and the influence of critical parameters are carried out. To evaluate the merits of AT-CPFRPMM, the electromagnetic performances of AT-CPFRPMM are analyzed and compared to two existing FRPMMs based on the finite element method.
