摘要

•A strong Epoxy resin (EP)/ Sodium alginate (SA)/SiO2 superhydrophobic coating was fabricated.•SA was separated and concentrated on the surface of EP by emulsion phase as a hydrogen bonding agent.•EP/SA/SiO2 coating has good mechanical robustness, chemical stability and corrosion resistance.
