摘要

•Proposing an automatic gas plume segmentation method combining optical gas imaging and DeeplabV3+ model.•The improved model is able to segment the gas plume more accurately than the SegNet, FCN and PSPNet semantic segmentation methods.•The IOU and F1 score of the improved DeeplabV3+ model are increased by 4.10% and 2.47%.
