Electric Vehicle Wireless Power Transfer System Active and Passive Magnetic Shielding Design.

In recent years, the application of wireless power transfer (WPT) technology has become increasingly popular, and one of the main applications is in wireless charging for electric vehicles. In order to effectively control the external leakage magnetic field of the WPT system, this paper reasonably designs the active and passive shielding structure of the WPT system. Using the 3D electromagnetic simulation software based on the finite element method, we analyze the transmission efficiency, magnetic flux density and the saving of shielding material of the 3kW electric vehicle WPT system with the shielding structure. The result shows that the designed active and passive shielding structure can saves 86.67% of the ferrite material compared with the whole ferrite plate, and improves the system transmission efficiency and significantly improves the distribution pattern and magnetic flux density of the leakage field.
