Flexible and wearable electronics are more sensitive to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) failures. Design-for-EMI/ESD immunity is challenging. This paper outlines the design considerations in design-for-EMI immunity and ESD protection, including design examples.
