摘要
•Re nanoparticles are prepared by a joint reduction method of carbon and hydrogen.•The as-obtained Re nanoparticles are only about 108.6 nm with a slight C and O.•The presence of carbon black can significantly reduce the particle size of products.•A further reduction of hydrogen can decrease the contents of C and O residues.
