Double crosslinked networks waterborne polyurethane with self-healing, recyclable and antibacterial functions based on dynamic bonds and used for temperature/light sensor

•A unique double crosslinked network WPU containing double dynamic bonds is designed.•This method satisfies the material excellent mechanical and self-healing properties.•Antibacterial properties of WPU films are greatly improved by introducing zinc ions.•Visible-light smart response sensor based on ditelluride bonds is first reported.
