Analysis of 9be+28si Elastic Scattering System Using Different Optical Potentials

•Elastic scattering of 9Be+28Si system in energy range (12-201.6) MeV are analyzed.•The optical potential is determined using the cluster and double folding models.•The 8Be+n cluster structure of 9Be is used for the real cluster folding potential.•Inelastic channels impact on the elastic scattering has been investigated.
