Automotive industries play a significant growth in the global economy. Even though, the automotive sector faces a growing number of environmental problems, such as pollution, resource depletion, and greenhouse gas emissions. Green manufacturing has become more popular in the industry as a response to these difficulties, with an emphasis on sustainability, effectiveness, and environmental responsibility. An in-depth investigation of the condition of green manufacturing techniques in the automotive sector is the main goal of this systematic research. This systematic review employs scholarly articles, academic journals, case studies, and reports from 2019 to 2023 to understand the best practices and latest developments in green manufacturing of automotive industries. This comprehensive assessment provides insightful information about the tactics used by automobile makers to reduce their environmental impact while maintaining competitiveness in a changing market. It adds to the continuing discussion about environmentally friendly manufacturing techniques and serves as a starting point for further study and the formulation of government regulations about green production in the automobile sector. In the end, this assessment is an essential tool for academics, decision-makers, and business experts who are attempting to find their way toward a more sustainable manufacturing sector of automotive industries. To achieve environmental goals, manufacturers should keep emphasizing sustainable materials, making investments in green manufacturing based on the 5Rs.
