Neolignans from Selaginella trichoclada

new neolignan, (–)-(7 R ,8 S ,7′ R ,8′ S ,8′′ S )-4′-hydroxy-3′,3′′,5′′-trimethoxy-4′′-O- β -D-glucopyranosyl-7,9,7′,9′-diepoxy-3,4,8′′,9′′-bisoxy-8,8′-sesquineolignan ( 1 ), and five known neolignan derivatives were isolated from an ethanolic extract of Selaginella trichoclada Alston. The chemical structure of these compounds was identified by extensive spectroscopic analyses (UV-vis, 1D/2D NMR, CD, and MS). Furthermore, the molecular docking results indicate that compound 1 may act as an anti-inflammatory inhibitor.
