Autoreactive B Cells in the Peripheral Blood of Patients with Sjögren’s Syndrome
Pathology(2024)
摘要
Introduction: Sjögren's syndrome (SS) is an autoimmune disorder characterised by dryness, fatigue and serum autoantibodies to Ro/La (nuclear) ribonucleoproteins produced by autoreactive B cells. What causes B cells to become autoreactive, and the specific B cell developmental state where autoreactivity arises, is not clear; hence, we examined B cell populations in the blood for reactivity to nuclear/cellular antigens.
