Optimization Configuration Method for Fiber Optic Cable Networks Based on MC-NSGA-II Algorithm in Random Failure Mode

This article studies the load optimization configuration problem of optical fiber networks. Firstly, a comprehensive review of existing research achievements and directions was conducted. Then, based on the MC-NSGA-II (Monte-Carlo-NSGA-II) method, network resilience and other objective functions were used to solve network optimization configuration schemes in various situations. By transforming multi-objective optimization problems into combinatorial selection problems, the sparsity of the solution space is effectively reduced, making the problem easier to converge. At the same time, the Monte Carlo random method is embedded into the NSGA-II algorithm, effectively simulating the random failure behavior of the network, which can quickly evaluate the impact of edge failures on the network. The generated optimized network configuration scheme can effectively improve the robustness of the network, thereby ensuring the normal operation of the fiber optic network. Therefore, the method proposed in this article can effectively enhance the robustness of optical fiber networks to ensure the safe, stable, economical, and reliable operation of communication systems.
