摘要
As Internet of Things (IoT) has been one of the driving forces of the technology development for the last decade, Medical IoT (MIoT) devices have played a major role with the pressing needs in providing timing medical services, treating various diseases, and monitoring and tracking healthcare resources. Although the impact of MIoT on our life is paramount, the challenge brought by it, from a digital forensic perspective, is also overwhelming. Due to enormous amount of digital data created by MIoT, the burden of proof for the prosecution in pinning down the suspect is often extremely expensive. The goal of this project is to apply ontology in classifying MIoT digital data into the forensic-evidence rings so that the scope of collection of MIoT digital data can be limited. Assisted by this approach, investigators will be able to selectively collect MIoT digital data as their evidence within their available resources.
