Ultrawide-band Millimeter-wave Radar Mounted on Drone

To expand the use of millimeter-wave (MMW) radars in nondestructive testing applications, a drone-mounted radar system using photonics technologies for signal generation and transmission was developed. Stable measurement was realized not only by decreasing the data acquisition time but also by downsizing the drone with a light-weight radar frontend.
