Visualization Methods for Bookmarks to Facilitate Recall Them Recorded During Casual Web Browsing.

Thanks to the vast amount of information on the web, people can smoothly find and gather the information they want. Bookmarks are the most popular and convenient way to save such collected information to review later. However, bookmarks recorded through casual web browsing tend to lose their cues for recall quickly. We propose two bookmark visualization methods for a web browser to facilitate the recall of such a bookmark based on the hypotheses focused on human recall activities. While the results of the user experiment showed the possibility of supporting recall by visualizing information collection paths, problems remained in establishing cues for recall using words on web pages.
