摘要
This study investigates how media framing of elderly exercise participation has evolved pre- and post-COVID-19, aiming to highlight its societal importance and offer data to encourage such activities. By analyzing domestic news from 2017 to 2022 with TEXTOM and Ucinet, four main themes emerged: government policies, disease prevention through exercise, exercise facilities, and sports activities for the elderly. Findings indicate post-COVID shifts towards policy support, technological advancements, increased focus on sarcopenia prevention, IT-enhanced exercise facilities, and the rise of home-based care and private exercise services. This reflects a growing societal concern and potential areas for further activation of elderly exercise participation.
