摘要
Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) play pivotal roles in regulating gene expression, particularly in cancer development and progression. This review provides a comprehensive analysis of recent research focusing on specific lncRNAs implicated in various types of brain tumors, including glioblastoma, meningioma, astrocytoma, medulloblastoma, neurofibromatosis, pituitary adenoma, and neuroblastoma. By elucidating the underlying mechanisms of these lncRNAs, the review sheds light on their potential as diagnostic and prognostic markers for brain tumor detection, prognosis assessment, and treatment response evaluation. Furthermore, it discusses the therapeutic implications of targeting lncRNAs in brain tumors, addressing associated challenges and prospects in developing lncRNA-based treatments.
