Asthma is characterized by a chronic inflammatory condition, and its heterogeneity is widely recognized. CD4+ T cells are associated with two asthma phenotypes: Th2 and non-Th2 inflammatory patterns. In this study, we hypothesize that CD4+ T cell type-specific epigenetic regulation is orchestrated in the pathophysiological processes of asthma.
