Self-photocatalyzed three-component radical cascade reaction of quinoxalinones, simple alkenes and zhdankin reagent

A photoinduced, self -catalyzed three -component reaction of quinoxalinones with unactivated alkenes and IBA -N3 was developed. Quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones act as both reagent and photocatalyst in this reaction system. This methodology provides a simple, practical and sustainable method to access diverse azidoalkylated quinoxalinones with potential use in medical and pharmaceutical.
