摘要
Light management materials play a highly important role in energy conservation, emission reduction, and human health protection. We introduce a cellulose -based composite film that features not only light management attributes but also self -healing capabilities and exceptional mechanical properties. This is achieved through a straightforward strategy similar to the established calendaring procedure in the papermaking process. Interestingly, fine-tuning the BR curing process endows the MFC/BR film with noteworthy thermal -healing ability, considerably enhancing its practical utility. The films with creases and notches can realize quickly self -heal via simply heating with a hair dryer. As the film comprises 70 wt% microfibrillated cellulose (MFC) and 30 wt% benzoxazine resin (BR), it exhibits desired transparency (- 80%) and high haze (- 86%), ensuring uniform light propagation and efficient scattering. Notably, it offers remarkable ultraviolet (UV) and blue light doubleblocking capabilities (98.65% for UV and 68.85% for blue light), facilitating a consistent, gentle, safe, and conducive lighting environment for health -centric and energy -efficient buildings. In addition, this MFC/BR film demonstrates satisfactory tensile strength (142.99 MPa) and water resistance. This innovative composite film paves the way for transforming cellulosic biomass resources into high -value functional materials.
