摘要
The utilization of transition metal catalysts in propargylic substitution has emerged as a highly effective approach for synthesizing propargylic compounds. Nickel, among various transition metals, has recently gained growing interest in this field, especially in the context of asymmetric propargylic substitutions. This review presents the latest developments in nickel-catalyzed propargylic substitution reactions, categorizing them based on the different types of nucleophiles involved, with a particular focus on asymmetric transformations. Meanwhile, this review provides a brief overview of the challenges and areas where improvements could be made, aiming to serve as a source of inspiration for forthcoming studies. This work summarizes recent progress in nickel-catalyzed propargylic substitution reactions, categorizing them based on the diverse types of nucleophiles involved, with a specific focus on exploring asymmetric transformations.
