Low Palladium-Loading HY Zeolite Catalyzed Hydrolysis of Hydrosilanes to Silanols and Alkoxysilanes

A low palladium-loading heterogeneous catalyst has been developed for the hydrolysis of hydrosilanes to silanols and alkoxysilanes under mild and neutral reaction conditions with broad substrate scope. After five recycling runs, this low palladium-loading catalyst keeps good activity for this transformation. We developed a low palladium-loading heterogeneous catalyst (Pd-bpy@HY-600, 0.06 wt% palladium loading), which shows good activity for the hydrolysis of hydrosilanes to silanols and alkoxysilanes under mild and neutral conditions.
