Moment Matching based Framework of Order Minimisation for interconnected power system

摘要
This paper presents the analytical design and simulation performance of higher-scale interconnected power system through reduced order models. In this study Moment Matching is introduced as the key methodology for order reduction, applied specifically to a high-scale interconnected power system. The proposed method not only demonstrates computational simplicity but also consistently yields a stable reduced system for initially stable original systems. To assess its efficacy, the proposed method is meticulously compared against existing reduction methodologies using performance indices such as integral squared error and integral absolute error. This paper contributes a valuable insight into the realm of power system analysis and reduction techniques, offering a promising approach with practical advantages over current methodologies.
