摘要
Abstract Efficient simulation of industrial problems requires high-performance computing and appropriate linear solvers. The aim of this work is to present a performance analysis of the OpenFOAM [1] built-inlinear algebra solvers and the linear solvers available via PETSc4FOAM [2], when they are applied to large-scale problems. The problem selected for this comparison is the well-known NASA Common Research Model (CRM). This study highlights the importance of using appropriate linear solvers and high-performance computing for efficient simulation of industrial problems. The effectiveness of PETSc4FOAM for solving such problems using OpenFOAM is discussed. The results can aid in the selection of appropriate solvers and preconditioners for solving similar problems in the future.
