摘要
The paper presents the fabrication and characterization of novel laser-induced Graphene (LIG)-based electrodes from cork substrates. The LIG has been a pioneering phenomenon for forming low-cost and robust sensors. Certain attributes like high electrical conductivity, high porosity, and easy synthesis process greatly increase the potential of LIG-based for electrochemical and strain-sensing applications. One of the challenges has been the formation of LIG from cheap, daily used objects to induce large-scale, low-cost graphene production. The initial characterization of LIG shown here forms a podium for developing multifunctional LIG-based sensors devised from cork substrates. Further experiments will be carried out and reported on optimizing the electro-mechanical characteristics of the LIG electrodes from cork substrates.
