Performance Study of Pre-equalization by Neural Network in THz-wave Communication System for 6G and B6G Networks

We propose a joint equalization scheme based on neural networks for nonlinear impairments in 6G terahertz communication systems. The simulation results show that under the transmission conditions of carrier frequency 350G Hz and fiber transmission distance of 50km SSMF, when the LOP is 0dBm, the Q factor of the 16QAM signal can be increased by about 12dB, and the BER can also be increased by nearly an order of magnitude. At the same time, the improvement effect of Q value and BER under different LOP values was also measured to verify the reliability of the equalization scheme.
